I was delighted to take part in the 'Fear Of Forgetting' exhibition at the Contact Sheet Art gallery, curated by Steven Cavanagh and Paul McDonald. The Exhibition was opened by Michael Snelling, Director - The National Art School, Sydney.
I showcased work from my new ‘Kueh Lapis' collection, inspired by the richly-coloured urban landscape of Tiong Bahru, where the old Peranakan history sits along side the modern skyscrapers of Singapore. Nyonya Identification was also exhibited by Bathurst Regional Gallery in Hill End later in the year.
